Case study ✦ MyPay

Libya's payment methods, aggregated behind one gateway.

MyPay is a payment gateway for Libyan merchants: local payment methods aggregated behind one integration, payment links for social selling, a WooCommerce plugin and developer APIs for e-commerce, and one dashboard for everything. AppDevs engineered the platform.

The context

A fragmented payment landscape is the merchant's problem, until it isn't.

Libyan commerce runs on a set of local payment providers, each with its own integration, its own settlement, and its own reporting. A merchant who wants to accept them all ends up maintaining several connections, or turning customers away.

MyPay's answer is an aggregation gateway: integrate once, accept every major local method, and see the whole business in one dashboard, whether the sale happens on a website, over a payment link, or in person.

What was built

One integration for merchants, many rails underneath.

01

Local payment-method aggregation

One integration that accepts Libya's local payment methods: bank cards alongside providers like Edfa'a Li, Yesser Pay, Sahara Pay, and Masrafi Pay. Merchants stop juggling one connection per provider.

02

Payment links

Shareable payment links for merchants selling over social channels or without a website. Links are generated, sent, and tracked from the platform.

03

WooCommerce and developer APIs

A WooCommerce integration for store owners plus flexible APIs for teams building their own checkout, with the same gateway underneath both.

04

Unified merchant dashboard

One dashboard for transaction monitoring and financial reporting across every payment method, instead of one report per provider.

05

Gateway configuration

Merchant-side configuration for enabling methods and managing collection settings, with mobile apps for monitoring on the go.
